What is the Profit Share?
The profit share is the percentage of total realized profits (33%) that are shared to us from our clients as a performance success fee.
This is calculated at the end of each billing cycle, which typically lasts for 30 days or after a sizable trade close.
Why 33%?
Our profit share is based on the standard 20% + 2% fee that is charged by traditional hedge funds to their clients. However, since we are dealing with cryptocurrency, our returns far exceed those of traditional finance. Therefore, we have added an additional 11% to the standard fee, bringing our total profit share to 33%.
Is 33% too high?
You might ask if a 33% profit share feels steep. Our current clients see it differently—they recognize that the realized profits now in their accounts didn’t exist before and required no effort or time on their part. That’s why they’re always happy to promptly send us our share, appreciating the value we bring.
