Gemini: How to create API keys
Learn how to create Gemini API keys and connect your account to cryptobots.io
1. Log in to Your Exchange Account
Open your preferred web browser and navigate to www.gemini.com
Enter your credentials to log in.
2. Open the Account Settings page
Click on the Account tab on the top right corner of the page and click on Settings.
Note! You must complete the Gemini verification process in order to use API keys:
3. Open the API settings page
Click the API on the left sidebar menu:
4. Click on Create API key
After clicking on it, you may be prompted to complete 2FA.
Enter the 2FA code after it's enabled:
5. Choose the Scope
On the Create API Key dropdown menu, select Primary if you are trading on an individual account. Select Master if you are going to use this API Key for multiple accounts.
6. Provide your API with a name.
Provide a name or label for the new API key, such as 'Cryptobots'
7. Select "Trading" on API key settings:
This allows cryptobots.io to execute trades on your behalf.
Check the box on the API secret acknowledgement.
click Create API key.
11. Copy your keys and submit them to Cryptobots.io
Log in to your Cryptobots.io account and enter your API Key and secret Key into the designated fields. You can just copy + paste.
Congratulations! You have successfully created and submitted your API keys.
